SHORT TERM GOALS

  • To conduct regular CDE programs and courses to keep updated about the latest treatment modalities every year.
  • To conduct monthly training for our students in using the Cephalometric software for doing the various cephalometric analyses.
  • To actively participate in School Dental Camps and conduct regular screening to identify developing malocclusions and carry out their early corrections.
  • To encourage students to actively participate in at least two research activities every year and help them with their publications in indexed journals.

LONG TERM GOALS

  • To strive hard to make the department the most sort after treatment center for the correction of skeletal malocclusions using Bone Screws and TADS by 2024.
  • Digitalization of the department using Intra intra-oral scanner and 3D printer for the treatment of mild to moderate malocclusions using In-house aligners.
  • To adopt a school nearby for the management of different orthodontic treatment needs for all the students.

  1. To make the department a Referral Centre for the treatment of complex skeletal malocclusions using bone screws
  2. To enable the department to  practice completely Digital Orthodontics using the latest intra-oral scanners, 3d printers, digital treatment planning for better patient education, etc
  3. To encourage more research-oriented projects and studies for the students
  4. To adopt a school for complete orthodontic care for underprivileged children.
  5. To start a graduate Orthodontic course in the department
